The story of Leaf Releaf

When my first son was one year old he suffered from pediatric eczema and the doctor suggested using ointments with cortisone (steroids). My wife, Debbie, refused to apply steroids to our baby's skin. I was looking for another solution but did not find anything that was natural and would relieve the redness and itching in the inflamed areas. Moisturizers can relieve dryness and sensitivity up to a certain point but they do not soothe inflammation and severe itching. We realized that we we are not the first parents with such a problem.

At the time, I was engaged in brain research at the University of Amsterdam. I decided to start a new study with the goal of finding a natural solution based on plant extracts that would ease inflammation and itching without any side effects. I embarked on a long journey, collaborating with brilliant biologists and chemists. This journey included a long survey of traditional folk remedies, examination and analysis of hundreds of plant species and their active ingredients. Once we had discovered the composition of the first active natural extracts we continued to research and refine the formula for another seven years. Throughout the years of research our team was fortunate to work with hundreds of volunteers who tried many versions of the product until we finally arrived at the formula that we call today Leaf Releaf.
